Two years ago the Tox hit an all-girls boarding school in Maine. Secluded on a peninsula the Navy and CDC quarantine the girls while they search for a cure. As girls get infected, some live to fight the "flare ups" and others succumb to disease.

Living to survive on little and clustering into their own trusted groups, life is anything but easy. Wilder Girls seems to promise much in the way of adversity, resilience and sheer will. Sure to be a hit, this modernized "Molokai" or "Lord of the Flies" packs a punch.
