This first look gives readers a glimpse into the bleak, tragic lives of the students at The Raxter School for Girls. The school is quarantined due to a devastating and mysterious disease everyone calls the Tox. Hetty and her friends spend their time patrolling the perimeter with guns and fighting for the limited food and supplies sent by the military. I was chilled by the glimpse I got into Hetty’s world and would love to find out more.
