Okay, so I couldn’t resist the arresting cover art—sometimes I just can’t avoid judging a book by its cover! The premise sounds interesting, particularly with the blending of the dystopian genre with feminist themes, all the while nodding at Lord of the Flies. And not only that, I can see a coming of age narrative also developing after reading the first few chapters. So far, this certainly seems to be a genre-bending read!
