I'm totally fascinated by this story & can't wait to read the entire book to find out why they have guns & keep watch. How did they get to Raxter? Where are their parents? What does the Navy have to do with this all-girls' school? Are they eating what they kill? Why are they receiving outdated, spoiled food supposedly from the Navy? What is Camp Nash? They sound like animals tearing at their meager offerings of food when they can get some. It also reminds me of "Alien", that something extra-terrestrial is inside of them. It's fascinating that each of the girls exhibits different symptoms so I can't wait to find out why it affects each one differently.
