First off, both the cover of this book and the synopsis have me watering at the mouth. I really love this concept of a rag tag bunch of prep school students left stranded on an island as a disease slowly disfigures and kills them off. There is great tension between the characters and in the setting, this ragged woods filled with animals who are slowly transforming into monsters alongside the students.
