First off, that cover is excellent! It's very eye-catching and beautiful.

As for the actual content, I don't tend to like first-person narrative, so that's just my preference. However, I appreciate that the book thus far is not shying away from some pretty nasty descriptions of their mutations and injuries. The main character (a teenage girl) has an eye that's actively full of pus, for example, and there are descriptions of bones breaking through skin and lots of blood. The author could have sugarcoated the Tox and made it much more palatable, but the /ongoing/ nature of the Tox is far more interesting than "they got sick and died."

Also, you could've blinked and missed it, but there was slight teasing at some F/F? That's one way to draw me in. :)
