Hetty and Byatt attend an all girls school situated on an island. They have been quarantined since the Tox first hit taking their teachers and leaving some girls with skin deformities. The surrounding forest is off limits as the girls do not know what lies waiting for them in those deep woods. Then Byatt goes missing and Hetty must do anything she can to find her, even if it means going past the fence and into the unknown.
