Wow. The writing is so unique, it really keeps me engaged in the story, even though the plot already has me hooked. By the first page I already know I'll like it, I need to read this book.
Like everyone else is saying, of course, the cover is beautiful. But also I think the line "the island takes everything" is a nice touch and adds to the atmosphere of the cover.
