OK, let me start by saying what a huge horror and YA fan I am. This is both to me. I can FEEL the horror these girls must be feeling every second. To go to sleep in one piece, and know you'll wake up to pieces melting away and new pieces possibly growing in their place. *shudder * To know your body will mutate until you fade away and die.... I'm actually terrified for them, and they're just characters on a page. I haven't stopped thinking about this book since I read the excerpt.
For me, this is an absolute must-read. I NEED to know what happens to the girls, and why. Poor Hetty and her eye! I have to find out if the whole world is filled with the tox, and they're just being lied to. Maybe they're an experiment. What if there's a cure? I'm dying of curiosity. I will be reading this and anything else by this author I can get my hands on.
