I am a sucker for dual time lines. What's even more I'm a major sucker for the 20s and gangsters. In WW&tB; yes I was too lazy to type out the whole name, we have two time lines, one that takes place in the 20s and one that takes place in 2015. Honoree (Pronounced Honor-ray) is our main character in the 20s. She is hard working, she is feisty and I loved her. She wants to be a performer and be a star, but whenever something good happens to her, something bad always follows. In our second timeline (2015) Sawyer is a film student who is interviewing an over 100 year old Honoree about items he found in his grandmother's attic, including an old film.

This book has so much heart in it and you get swept up into the jazz age as well as Sawyer growing and forgiving himself after his sister's death. That is not a spoiler since it's right at the beginning of the book. I was surprised by one of the twists that came and needed answers that the epilogue luckily gave to me.

This was one of my favorite books that I read in March!
