I'm not an expert on jazz music or the culture. I know some things here and there but definitely no expert. But i do love historical fiction. Nevertheless I'm all in with this. I do love books that bounce back between the present and past. And from the First Look we only get two chapters of that but it's enough for me. I want to know what happened to Sawyer and his sister's tragic death. I want to know about Miss Honoree's life. I love the cover. From the dress, its color, the side profile and the font of the title. If i know nothing else, i know that screams JAZZ.
