Firstly, I must say how gorgeous this cover is because it is what first drew me to the book. I enjoy how the book starts out introducing the film maker at a retirement home hoping to interview a woman. The story then dives into the past of Honoree and a time of racial injustice, speakeasies, and the blues. It is an elegant portrayal of dancing and a time in history that I really want to learn more about...especially the mystery of what happened to Honoree in 1925
