I saw this book on Goodreads before seeing it on here for BookishFirst. I read over the synopsis and fell in love with the premise. I'm a sucker for anything having to do with the Roaring 20s. There's two different timelines and stories that are woven in together. We have the 20's with Honoree in Chicago and then in 2015 with Sawyer who is interviewing Honoree for his thesis paper. I am so excited to see how this all turns out. I got a little bit of "Evelyn Hugo" vibes from this and I absolutely adored that book. I can't wait to get this (I wasn't dumb- I knew I wanted to read it and so I claimed it!)
