Wow! The hidden innuendos in the example of this book of the story it will tell are definitely intriquing and made me want to know more. Honoree, a dancer and singer performing in Chicago in 1925. Dewey, running a huge risk by buying his bootleg liquor from anyone but Capone. Archie, the owner of the establishment where Honoree works and Pete, the bartender that they call crazy Pete but who makes more sense than the rest of them. Then we have Sawyer, a film student in 2015 who makes a visit to Honoree in the Senior Center where she is living. What exactly is his story and what is he hoping to learn from Honoree? This book sounds like one that I would not want to put down until I had read it completely.
