What a stunning story! While I'm not often a fan of split timeline narratives (they tend to jostle me right as I'm starting to settle in to the plot and character), this one works very, very well. I was deeply invested from the very beginning. I'm confident that this will hold up as a 5 star read for me, when I'm able to read it in entirety!
