I absolutely love a good memoir that will suck the reader in from the initial pages, and this one proves to be just that. With the description of Malabar and Charles, a couple who came to be under improper circumstances in the first place, and then the dynamic presence of Ben, the reader gets a full picture of what this story will surely be like. Charles, a bit feeble and disabled -- Ben, lively and vigorous. And then Malabar, a woman on a mission. I can't wait to dive into these pages and get lost in the story!
