I found this preview very interesting. This story puts in to question the relationship between a mother and daughter. The daughter, wanting to please her mother, agrees to keep the secret of her mothers affair, not knowing how is was going to affect her. Only happy that her mother trusted her with this big secret. This book is a memoir, and I would be very interested in reading the rest of this book. To see how keeping secrets and being a confidant for her mother affected Adrienne's relationship with her mother, and those around her. The cover of this book is interesting. It shows the image of a young girl, and it gives you the feeling that she is carefree in the picture, staring of into the ocean.
