A book that I absolutely would pick up based on cover judgement alone. This is exactly the kind of scandalous book that I would have hidden from my family and devoured under the covers. I was swept away with the description of the first kiss, the questionable and complicated mother/daughter relationship that crosses the line into friendship, and the inevitable coming of age.
