Not sure how I feel about what I read so far. I hope the rest of the book gets better. As a mom I can't imagine what doing this to a child would truly do. The book is written (so far) in the point of view of a 14 year old who is now part of a secret from her mother that no teenager should ever bear witness too. I would be intrigued to read the rest to see how this is handled.
