Mother Knows Best?

We all have those moments where we question our Mother's behavior. This novel seems to open up a swell of chaotic thoughts as a young pre-pubescent girl must make sense of her Mom's senseless behavior. That moment when children recognize that adults are immature and irresponsible. The shock of realizing that her Mother is drawing her into a conspiracy of magnificent proportions via her illicit romance yet under the pretense of maternal friendship. This book has the makings of a great story and an unusual story. Sex, love, marriage, and divorce become blurred lines for a 14-year old girl who hasn't even figured out the facts of life on her own. I can't wait to read this book. Bravo.
