This is definitely my not my genre, but I read the excerpt regardless.
It seems to be an autobiographical fiction novel, which seemed interesting enough. It follows the story of a woman named Adrienne, who stumbles into the middle of her mother's affair with a family friend. We see her become the confidante for her mother, which can only lead to future drama within the family I'm sure. I don't like dramas so this isn't for me.
