Interesting, I wanted to read on!

This book had a very interesting start. The setting is painted right from the beginning, in very strong and compelling strokes. I already feel for Adrienne, who is put into a difficult situation by her mother. It is clear Adrienne feels at least respect for her stepfather, while she is pulled into a scheme against him.

While I like the cover and think it will fit the story, I also think the girl on there is no more than ten years old. It would have been nice if she had fit the age of the main character more.
