This novel starts right in the thick of things and has beautiful descriptions. I was immediately transported to Cape Cod and there watching the drama unfold in this strange family dynamic. I would love to read more of this book to see what happens as a consequence of Malabar pursuing this affair. I think the cover is unique and interesting. It also kind of creeps me out a little though since the girl on it is so young and presented in such an adult light, but that is in keeping with the theme of the book so far.
