I only started reading memoirs within the past few years, and I have to say that they are quickly becoming a favorite genre of mine. I only read memoirs that focus on topics that interest me, and the parent-child dynamic in this book is captivating. It was so unfair for Malabar to pull Rennie into her world of seduction and lies, especially because Rennie was so young, and yet it is impossible to look away.
