Beautiful writing misleads you into believing this will be a gentle, sweet story. But the crescendo builds to the shocking request for complicity by a mother to her young daughter. By the end of this first chapter you know you are plunging into a whirlpool. The cover art is inviting but the writing is what grabs you. Descriptive in such a way that you are there smelling the ocean air and getting emotionally involved with the characters right off the bat! Can't wait to read more.
