I really enjoyed the beginning of this novel and can't wait to see where it goes. The characters are all set up very well, from the grieving widows to the detectives obsessed with finding answers. The author did a great job of leaving some ambiguity about who the "bad guys" and "good guys" actually were. I was definitely left with the desire to see how the widows cope with the loss of their husbands and who will come out of everything on top.
