This sounds like it will be an intriguing story. It certainly has all the features of one. Crime, death, widows, money, mystery, and British detectives. La Plante is such a descriptive writer, and draws the reader in right away...not only into the story, but alsointo the room, the clothes, and the minds of the characters!
