This book has been getting a lot of hype around the bookish internet. When i heard that the protagonist is a fox spirit, my ears perked up. I love that concept. Granted, I'm more familiar with the Kitsune in Japanese mythology, but I really love that it's a take on Korean mythology.I never see Korean mythology retellings/ takes on the stories. I also heard this being compared to Twilight. Twilight was a very formative story in my teen years. It's going to be interesting to see how the author took the Twilight tropes and made it her own. This book was a Book of The Month YA pick so I might pick up the book from there! I just feel very excited for this novel!
