What would you do if you had to kill to survive? That is the question Miyoung asks herself every full moon. She is a gumiho a nine tailed fox that needs to consume the "gi" of others to survive. She chooses to only consume the gi of men that have killed so she feels in her own way she is making the world a better place by getting rid of killers. But she still has issues with valuing her life over others. This story is one of misunderstanding a mother's course of life and coming to terms with why she is/does what she does; a first love/ friendship and so much more. It is marketed as a young adult novel but this will be enjoyed by you adults through older and still draw the person in with the folks tales and reality that seem to mesh into a singular world.
