Overall, this was a good book. It wasn't too heavy on any element, and it was a light read to kind of get out of a reading slump. It was fantasy, but it is a bit romance heavy, which personally I didn't mind at all. The writing style of the author was also pretty good. It was really engaging, and it flowed well together.
