Overall, this was a good book. It wasn't too heavy on any element, and it was a light read to kind of get out of a reading slump. It was fantasy, but it is a bit romance heavy, which personally I didn't mind at all. The writing style of the author was also pretty good. It was really engaging, and it flowed well together.

Honestly, this is one of those books that you pick up to be transported into someone else's life. It has everything: sadness, happiness, friendships, family, coming to terms with actions. It's a very light read and you don't need to read very carefully to understand the magical elements.

The characters, although not my favorite of all time, are pretty enjoyable to read about. They do have some dimension. However, I will say that I feel like the author could have developed Jihoon and Miyoung's character much more.

The plot itself isn't that complicated or heavy. It's a fairly simple, maybe even predictable plot, but it's perfect if you're just trying to read something without worrying too much about noting every single detail.
