korean fantasy... we need it <3
I truly felt immersed within the spiritual world of Miyoung, and the setting was done incredibly well. THE CHARACTERS were soo so interesting to read about and see; it was like playing a mini-movie within my head of all the things I wanted to hear!
The cover is absolutely gorgeous, and I actually saw that there were little illustrated designs on top of cards that the author made? Which is just such a cool merch/fan item for people to have; I really loved that.
Overall, there were some things that I didn't like so much about this book --
there were some points where I was incredibly frustrated with Miyoung and also some slow parts where I was tempted to give up and just read another novel, but nevertheless I PERSISTED. I also really appreciated the development of the romance and the relationships that Miyoung built further with the people around her!
