The cover is beautiful and I have read a couple other Asian mythology stories before but I found the opening a bit boring. There were a number of moments where I ended up skimming some of the paragraphs because it just wasn't interesting.
This could be a good fit for someone who prefers these kinds of stories but I just had a really difficult time with it.
