Being Filipino, I grew up a huge fan of Asian culture, particularly anime and manga, and to this day I am always drawn to literature by Asian authors. This is no exception! The cover is AMAZING. It's like an anime poster! I felt like this was Julie Kagawa's Shadow of the Fox but in modern times! It read like your typical high school drama with that dash of supernatural thrown in! I've read plenty of Chinese and Japanese novels but never anything Korean so I'm super excited to read this and learn more about Korean culture! I'm already hyped about the food just from the short street trip that Miyoung made. The writing was great and I really felt like I could see Seoul through Miyoung. I'd love to be able to review this book!
