I have always been fascinated with foxes and Korean mythology. And for this book to be about a gumiho, the 9 tailed mythical fox, well, I am highly anticipating its release date!
After just reading a couple pages of this excerpt I was completely engrossed, completely hooked. I kept trying to scroll for more after the last page!
I love Miyoung's character. Torn between her empathy for humans and her mother's hatred for them. Wanting to not disappoint her mother but also not wanting to be the monster she is supposed to be. Who doesn't want to disappoint their parents? Connection made easily.
Then there's easy going, who cares about anything Jihoon who just throws his adorable dimpled smile around and melts everyone to goo.
I am going to devour this book when its released!
