This book opens with an excellent hook, introducing us right away to our heroine who must kill in order to live. It's beautifully written and I loved the introduction to her love interest, a charming boy who accidentally stumbles across a demon in the forest and is saved by Miyoung. This very much feels like a well-done anime in prose form, and I'm eager to read the rest of the book!
