I've never read anime or manga, so this is a different sort of fantasy for me. I love mythology and Asian history, so I am intrigued. This book is very clearly written for young adults, focusing on the apathy of teenage Jihoon and including a sort of Twilight-esque encounter between Jihoon and Miyoung on Miyoung's first day of school. However, I believe some of the books that have the best understanding of the conflicts of human existence are young adult books, so I would very much like to continue reading this novel.
