While this book wasn't generally the genre that I read, I found myself drawn into Two Feather's world. This would fall into the realistic fiction type of category. In fact, prior to reading this book, I did not even know horse diving was a real thing! By this definition alone, Two Feathers is one brave girl! I found the book to be totally unique in it's character development as well as the experiences Two Feathers had to deal with during the 1920s, along with some creative fantasy addition. The way Two was described, I could see her with a dry since of humor which I really loved. It can be hard to get that sense of humor over in writing so at times you might have found Two a bit terse. During the middle of the book, I did find myself having to push through to finish. I'm not sure what would have helped. I also loaned this to my 11-year old to read, and she REALLY enjoyed it!
