This book was interesting and odd at the same time. Some parts of it I definitely liked, and some other parts I disliked. The plot was chunky and confusing, and the writing not the easiest to understand. I really liked the characters, especially two. She was the best thing about this book. However the transition between characters threw me off, and took a while to get used too. I also really liked the historical feel it had to it.
In addition I think with this book I was expecting more of like action, and mystery. And it wasn’t there, which left me to be disappointed. That was kind of how this book was pitched. The mystery was a bit too bit predictable for me as well, which kinda sucked. Other than that I liked how realistic the book was, and I liked how the author knew what they were talking about.
This is a book where the author has clearly put in their time and dedication.
