Initially, this was a bit of a slow go for me. While I deeply enjoyed the history lesson eque nature of the introduction, it was a little hard for me to get into. Luckily, the pace picked up and we were introduced to the setting and characters, which really draw the reader in. It is a story about a unique girl set in an era we don’t see often from a Native American point of view. The cover is eye catching enough to get you, but mysterious enough to make you pick it up.
