Incredible Writing and a Fascinating Story
It is clear from the first few lines of When Two Feathers Fell From the Sky that it is something very special. I was immediately captivated by the powerful writing that lays the historical foundation and backdrop for a profound and unique story.
As the story continues to develop and we are introduced to Two Feathers, we learn, play-by-play, what it is like to bravely mount a horse and high dive into a pool of water before a gaping audience. I was fascinated (and holding my breath!) and knew that I had to learn more about Two Feathers. If she is willing to fearlessly high-dive from the back of a horse, then I know she is a character I want to journey along with.
The vivid yellow and red cover along with the old-time font, and the illustration of a horse-diver immediately drew me in. I would pick up and buy this book based on the cover.
