How often do we get to read about life in Iraq via a well known journalist? This book had me hooked from the beginning. I want to know how Huda is able to give the secret police what they want to know without endangering the deputy ambassadors wife. Is Huda able to save her son from being forced into the deadly militia? So far, I have many questions but no answers.
