Woman experience in oppressed culture

I love books about different cultures and especially the woman experience in oppressed cultures. This book sounds like it's right up that alley. I like how we will get to experience multiple women's perspectives. It sounds like the reader will also get a light history lesson. I always love to learn while I read.
