I have never read a book based in Baghdad. This was amazing. It was something new and easy to read but hard to put down. I had to stop halfway though and when I came back to finish it I actually remembered a lot. That includes a lot of new words that I've never heard of. This is beautifully written and easy to follow. There characters feel extremely well rounded and deep. There is also a lot that could be built just on the first few chapters. I would love to see more.
