I’ve seen this book making the rounds on social media and I’m always struck by the pretty cover. I like that it’s set in Iraq amidst the Second Gulf War as that’s something I don’t see much of. I’m also intrigued by the conflict between Huda and Rania and am curious to read how their lives will once again come together.
