I can't remember the last time I was this excited for a book. As a history teacher, I've been reading more into Saddam Hussein's rule lately, since it is fairly more recent it hasn't been too much in the history books we use so I've been looking for outside sources for more info. A lot of the books I've found have been from foreign/war correspondents who lived in the area. This book sounds like the perfect addition for my research. It would be great to have some fiction works on the subject in my collection and I love reading about female experiences.
