Like I've seen a lot of other people say, this was an excerpt I wasn't expecting to like, but really enjoyed. The first chapter of the blood oath between the two best friends really drew me in. However, in the next chapter where they are adults, the story feels more grave. I like the two perspectives. The cover is very pretty.
