Set up to be both heartbreaking and heartwarming

I think this story has the set up to be both heartbreaking and heartwarming. Two best friends who have grown apart and are leading different lives and another woman who will tie them back together -- for better or for worse is still to be determined. I hope to see how these women's' strength shines through in each of their situations as they navigate an intense political and social environment.

I love that the author has personal experience being a foreign correspondent in Baghdad. I hope that will be able to add to the accuracy of the information about the area as well as the immersion into the setting and story. Also, I love the cover design!
