My heart pounded as I read the first chapters

I love to read about fictional suspense, but when it's a real-life situation, I don't handle it well. Reading about Huda being targeted by the Iraqi secret police just put so much fear in my heart and mind! I'm not sure I could stand to read this story, knowing that some women live this every day.
