This one isn’t for me, which is sad because I thought the concept was promising and I love the cover. But the writing feels cold and mediocre. Instead of poetic beauty, we get silly lines like this: “Rania consulted the cloudless sky, its blue so perfect it could break a heart.” I just do not think this well-written at all and it’s a hard pass for me.
