I enjoy books set in the Middle East. Making it even better, this is a story of female friendship. The descriptions make me feel as though I am back in Baghdad. The beautiful writing flows smoothly and quickly drew me into the story. I am eager to read more about Iraqi politics and what happens with the two friends.
